The Fortunes | |||
| 11. April 2004 | Zur 40. Geburtstagsparty von Radio Caroline hatte Riga Steve die Fortunes für einen Auftritt in seiner Riga Music Bar in Westcliff-on-Sea (bei Southend) verpflichtet. Da er nicht genau wußte wie viele zahlende Gäste zu dieser Party kommen würden war es ein gewisses Risiko die noch immer recht teuren Fortunes zu buchen. Aber seine Befürchtungen stellten sich bald als grundlos heraus. Nicht nur das genug Gäste erschienen, die Fortunes lieferten einen eindrucksvollen Auftritt der alle begeisterte. Hier nun einige Fotos von dieser Vorstellung. | Riga Steve had booked "The Fortunes" to appear in his Music Bar at Westcliff-on-Sea (near Southend) for Radio Carolines 40th birthday party. As he could not exactly anticipate how many paying guests would be attending he took quite a risk to sign up the still quite expensive Fortunes. But his apprehensions were unfounded. Not only did enough guests turn up - everybody was quite taken by the impressive show the Fortunes delivered. Here are some photographs of the event. | April 11th 2004 |

Nach der Show kamen alle Caroline Mitarbeiter auf die Bühne und sangen zusammen mit den Fortunes zum Abschluß der Veranstaltung noch einmal "Caroline".

Following the show all Caroline people present entered the stage and together with the Fortunes once again sang "Caroline". A fitting end to a fantastic day.
